First developed in New Zealand, the Papple is a hybrid of two pear varieties. They are similar in appearance to an apple with beautiful autumn colourings of red, yellow and orange. 

Papples have a crisp cream coloured flesh with a sweet juicy and firm texture. They are a great accompaniment to cheeses such as Brie, Gorgonzola and Parmesan.
